The Undergraduate Research Symposium is an annual poster fair that gives all undergraduate researchers a chance to share their research, scholarly and creative projects with the University community.
The University of Minnesota Informatics Institute (UMII) will provide funding for up to 25 UROP projects that include significant informatics components. Projects must either address a data challenge within a research problem in any field of application or address informatics methodologies or techniques more broadly.
A number of agencies and groups sponsor summer research experience programs for undergraduate students. Google searches will find websites for many of these programs. Many have deadlines in January or February.
