How Inequity creates disproportionate consequences to Climate Change in developing nations: A Visual Comparison

This project studies the agricultural shift perpetuated by global warming in developing nations, focusing on the Philippines. This study primarily focused on the agricultural entity of the rice crop, as it is one of the main crops of the country. The research consists of studying the economical importance of the rice crop and the growing conditions of the crop. Further review analyzed how the growing conditions will change due to climate change and the resulting implications of that shift. Using graphical visualizations this project diagrams the present conditions of the Philippines as it relates to agricultural land use, rice growth, and city limits. The study investigates the spatial and temporal effects of the change and the resulting effect on infrastructure, shelter, and agricultural land use in the Philippines.
