National Football League: Global Expansion
We have partnered with the National Football League to explore potential expansion and growth opportunities for the league. We have examined the NFL’s interest in globally expanding the league, by researching the effects of an overseas division within the league and analyzing ways to eliminate the major concerns surrounding the global expansion such as scheduling, traveling, budgeting, etc. Our purpose for this project is to analyze all of these implications in order to help the NFL determine whether or not a global expansion is achievable while remaining profitable. We primarily used data as well as academic research to come to a conclusion on this matter. By using these methods we were able to forecast what a move would entail regarding fan engagement, different scheduling options, and finances.
