Soil Arsenic Levels in Comparison to Location within the State of Minnesota

Especially in recent years, there has been major concern of contaminants negatively affecting the population. Arsenic falls under this category, and its levels should accordingly be studied. There is no correlation between soil arsenic levels and location in the state of Minnesota. Arsenic levels were measured using a laboratory X-ray fluorescence radar. Soil samples were provided, and data from prior soil samples’ arsenic levels using the same machine was also used. None to very little quantities of arsenic was found in the soil samples at all. The results suggest that arsenic soil levels in Minnesota do not need to be a worry for the population.
